Portions that do not depend on your evening · review
oneisall 3.5 L standard review
A 3.5-liter dry-food hopper with a single dial and an LCD screen: one to six meals a day, one to thirty-six portions each, and a sealed lid with a rotor at the base.
What we take from it The simplest dry feeder that still gives real portion control. No app is a feature at home and a limitation from a hotel room.
What it is
A 3.5-liter hopper feeder with a sealed lid, a rotor at the base and a single
dial with an LCD. One to six meals a day, one to thirty-six portions per meal.
Portion control that is actually controllable
Most cheap feeders offer three portion sizes. This one offers thirty-six
increments, which matters if you are splitting a daily ration across four
meals rather than approximating it. What a portion weighs depends on your
kibble — weigh it once, then set the schedule from the number rather than from
the label.
The sealed lid
oneisall makes a point of the seal and the rotor design, and both address the
same failure: humidity gets into the hopper, kibble softens, and softened
kibble is what a rotor jams on. A feeder that is airtight is a feeder that
still works in week two.
No app
There is nothing to install, nothing to pair, and nothing to lose when the
manufacturer’s servers change. There is also no notification if the hopper
empties or the rotor stalls while you are away — which is the trade, and it is
worth thinking about before a long absence.

The questions owners ask
Will it jam on my kibble?
That depends on the kibble, and it is the question to ask of any hopper feeder. Large, flat or irregular pieces are what stall a rotor; small round kibble almost never does. Measure a piece before ordering, and if your food is at the large end, run the feeder for a few days while you are still at home.
How much is one portion?
oneisall specifies the portion in units rather than in grams, which is normal for this design — the volume of a portion varies with the density of the food. Weigh what one unit delivers with your own kibble before relying on it, and set the schedule from that.
What happens in a power cut?
Check the manual for your unit: some feeders in this class keep the clock on batteries but will not turn the rotor. That distinction only becomes visible on the day it matters, and it is the single most important thing to know about any feeder you leave running while away.

This one and its buyer, among pet devices
One cat, a week away, and an owner who would rather turn a dial than install an app.
Amazon reports what buyers took in the month before this page was last checked: at least 500.
The figure is a floor, rounded by Amazon, and read through Keepa — it says what buyers picked, not what a maker claims.

4 L · 1–6 meals · 7–9 g (0.2 to 0.3 oz) portions · voice recording · battery backup
A 4-liter hopper with a semi-transparent body, portions of roughly 7 to 9 grams, a ten-second voice recording and a battery backup alongside the USB-C supply.
Best for: Anyone who wants to know what the feeder is actually dispensing, in grams, without weighing it themselves.
Two meals · 400 g (14.1 oz) per bowl · 48 h quartz timer · ice pack
A two-meal timed feeder with no app, no motor and no jam: the lid rotates on a quartz timer and each bowl holds 400 g (14.1 oz) of wet food, kept cool by the supplied ice pack.
Best for: A cat on wet food that needs one meal while you are out, and anyone who has had a hopper feeder jam.
Five meals · 330 g (11.6 oz) stainless bowls · digital timer · two ice packs
Five stainless bowls of 330 g (11.6 oz) on a digital timer, with two ice packs and a tamper-resistant lid. It is the wet-food feeder for an absence longer than a day.
Best for: A weekend away with a cat on wet food, or a cat fed several small meals a day for medical reasons a vet has set.
