Under 20 dB claimed, and a side outlet
ONECUTE SMA800 side pump
A side-outlet SMA-800 replacement pump running on DC 5 V over USB, fully strippable for cleaning, at $9.99.
What you are getting
An SMA-800 ultra-quiet side pump for stainless steel fountains, on DC 5 V with a USB cable. $9.99.
The quietest claim on the shelf, by twenty decibels
“Noise level below 20 dB.” The three DR-DC160 pumps here claim under 40 dB and PETLIBRO claims 23 dB.
Twenty decibels is a factor of one hundred in sound power. Between pumps of the same size, in the same kind of bowl, that spread says more about how the figures were produced than about the pumps: none of the four listings states a distance or a method.
Below 20 dB is quieter than a recording studio’s noise floor, which is a demanding claim for a motor sitting in water.
Low voltage, and no adapter
DC 5 V, with a universal USB cable that will run from a wall plug, a computer or a power bank. The package does not include a USB adapter — which the listing says plainly, and which matters because the Monsin pump on this shelf specifies 5V/1A and warns that overvoltage destroys it.
It comes apart
“Both the outer casing and inner components… can be removed.” That is the property that decides whether a pump lasts: a sealed pump that furs up is scrap, while one that strips is a ten-minute job with soapy water. The maker asks for a clean every two weeks.
A different motor from the rest
SMA-800, where three other pumps here are DR-DC160. It is a side pump — the outlet leaves the housing laterally rather than from the top — so the bowl it fits is not interchangeable with a top-outlet pump of the same capacity.
What is not published
No flow rate, no power draw, no cable length, and no model list beyond “stainless steel water fountains”.

The questions owners ask
Is it really quieter than the others?
The claim is below 20 dB, against 23 dB from PETLIBRO and "less than 40" from the three DR-DC160 pumps here. Twenty decibels is a hundredfold difference in sound power, which is not plausible between pumps of this class — and none of the four listings says at what distance or by what method the figure was taken. Treat all four as unverified, and judge noise by whether the pump can be stripped and cleaned instead.
What is a side pump?
One whose water leaves the housing sideways rather than from the top. The bowl is built around one or the other, so a side-outlet pump will not feed a top-outlet tower and vice versa — that is a fitment question no capacity figure answers. This is the only side pump on this shelf.
Do I need an adapter?
Yes, and the listing says it is not included. The pump runs on DC 5 V over a universal USB cable, so any 5 V source works — a phone charger, a computer port, a power bank. The Monsin pump on this shelf is also 5 V and warns that a higher-voltage supply will damage it; the same caution applies here.
