Nobody publishes failure data, so the honest proxy is repairability — machines whose pumps, seals, blades and drums are sold separately can be kept going, and machines whose are not get replaced whole.
We can only report what is observable, and repairability is observable.
What is replaceable in this catalog
Fountain pumps and filters, clipper blades and combs, grinder drums, tracker mounts, litter box liners and seals, feeder bowls. All are reviewed on this site because they are what keeps a machine alive.
What is not
Several fountains have no spare pump listed at all. Some grinders are sealed units. Those machines have a fixed life.
The warranty question
One to two years is typical here. It is a floor rather than an expectation, and it says less about longevity than the spare parts catalog does.
The habit that extends everything
Cleaning on a schedule. Every failure in this niche — jammed rotors, furred impellers, blunt blades, stuck drums — has residue at the start of the chain.
This does not replace your device’s manual. Blade temperatures, locking mechanisms and cleaning procedures differ from model to model, and the manufacturer’s instructions take precedence over anything written here. Unplug a device before dismantling it, check a hot blade or an air nozzle against your own hand before it goes anywhere near an animal, and keep a mechanism that closes or rotates under supervision until you know how it behaves.
