Which of the two, for which animal

Buy the GPS Cat Mini (2026)

Take the Tractive if you want the animal’s data as well as its position, and the reassurance of a published subscription price and six markets of availability.

XS for cats

No amazon.com listing was found for this one. We hold references for other markets but none for the United States, so it may not be buyable here — which is the first thing to weigh against anything below.

Take the Weenect if the job is finding a cat. A position every second in Superlive mode and a SIM that roams between operators are worth more in a hedgerow than any graph.

The questions owners ask

Do I really need a subscription?

For a genuine tracker, yes — the SIM is what removes the range limit. The Bluetooth tags sold alongside these have no monthly fee and no useful range either; they find a collar in the house.

Is 32 g (1.1 oz) too much for a cat?

On a 6 kg (13.2 lb) cat, unremarkable. On a slight 3 kg (6.6 lb) one, noticeable — and the collar must break away under load with the tracker on it. Test the buckle after fitting rather than assuming.
