The seller says 99% of returns only needed a clean
Monsin DR-DC160
A DR-DC160 replacement pump on a 6-foot USB cable, the only one here to publish its voltage and power draw.
What you are getting
A DR-DC160 replacement pump for round, cubic and flower-cap fountains, on a 6-foot USB cable. $9.99.
The seller published its own return analysis, and it proves the shelf right
“We found that 99% of the pumps can be reused after cleaning by analyzing the returned products from customers.”
That is a vendor opening the boxes people sent back and finding that almost none of the pumps were broken. This shelf’s opening line says the same thing from the other side: a fountain that has become noisy has almost never failed — it has a furred impeller or a low reservoir.
No other listing in this group volunteers anything like it, and it is the single most useful sentence on the shelf.
DC 5 V, 1.5 W, on a 6-foot cable, with a warning: “Please use 5V/1A USB power adapter. Overvoltage will damage the pump.” The adapter is not included.
Nine pumps on this shelf, and this is the only one that publishes what it draws. That matters because the plug is half the fitment question: a 5 V USB pump cannot replace the 12 V Pioneer Pet unit on this shelf whatever the bowl it sits in.
The third DR-DC160
Baofum sells this motor at $7.58 with an LED; KANCHOU at $12.99 without one. This sits between them at $9.99, and is the only one of the three to say what it runs on.
What is not published
No flow rate. No ingress rating. The noise claim is “below 40 dB”, in line with the other two DR-DC160 listings and twenty decibels above what ONECUTE claims for its own pump.

The questions owners ask
Should I clean the old pump before buying this one?
The seller of this one says yes, in its own words: 99% of the pumps it received back worked after cleaning. A furred impeller slows and whines exactly like a failing motor. Take the pump cover off, lift the impeller out, wash both in warm soapy water and reassemble — the listing describes the steps, and so do three others on this shelf. If it still will not run, then it is dead.
What happens if I use the wrong adapter?
The listing is blunt: "Please use 5V/1A USB power adapter. Overvoltage will damage the pump." It runs on DC 5 V and draws 1.5 W. Any USB source at 5 V will do — a wall plug, a computer, a power bank — but a higher-voltage supply will not. No adapter is included.
Is it the same as the Baofum and KANCHOU pumps?
Same motor reference, DR-DC160, on all three. This one sits in the middle at $9.99 — Baofum is $7.58 with an LED, KANCHOU $12.99 without one. What this listing has that neither of the others does is the electrical specification, and a return analysis worth more than any of the three noise claims.
