A 900-watt dryer with four nozzles, three wind speeds and four heat settings from 30 to 80 °C (86 to 176 °F), plus an automatic temperature cycle. It doubles as a brush.
What we take from it The dryer to buy for a small animal and a nervous one. Real temperature figures and a low setting are worth more here than watts.
What it is
A 900-watt pet dryer with three wind speeds, four heat steps at 30, 45, 55 and
80 °C (176 °F), an automatic temperature cycle, four nozzles and an ionic function.
KUUBIA sells it as a five-in-one, brush included.
Degrees, not adjectives
Most dryers in this price range publish “low, medium, high”. This one
publishes four numbers, and that changes how you use it: 30 °C (86 °F) is barely warm
air, which is the right setting for a thin coat, an elderly animal or a first
session. Being able to choose that deliberately is the feature.
The 80 °C (176 °F) setting
It exists for the far end of a thick, wet double coat, at distance and kept
moving. It is not a setting to hold near skin, and no coat should be dried by
parking a nozzle in one place. Follow KUUBIA’s instructions on distance and
session length rather than treating the top setting as a time-saver.
What 900 W buys
Time on a small animal, not power on a large one. If your dog is big and
double-coated, read the 3,200 W blaster below — it is a different class of
machine with a different noise problem.

What we rate, and what we flag up
Strengths
Publishes its temperatures in degrees rather than as "low, medium, high"
30 °C (86 °F) is a genuinely low setting — the one to use on a nervous or thin-coated animal
Four nozzles, so the airflow can be narrowed for legs and widened for a body
Listed on all six of our markets
Compromises
80 °C (176 °F) at the nozzle is hot: that setting is for the far end of a thick coat, not for skin
900 W is modest against the salon blasters — drying a large double coat takes time
A combined brush and dryer is a compromise on both

The questions owners ask
Which temperature should I use?
The lowest that dries in reasonable time, and never the highest near skin. A coat traps heat against skin you cannot see, so the sensible method is a lower setting kept moving rather than a hot one held still. KUUBIA’s 30 °C (86 °F) step exists for exactly this.
Is 900 W enough?
For a cat or a small dog, comfortably. For a soaked Bernese, no — that is what the 3,200 W blaster further down this page is for. Power in this category buys time, not gentleness.
Dryer or towel?
Both. A towel takes the bulk of the water out in a minute and shortens everything that follows; a dryer finishes the undercoat that a towel cannot reach. Starting a dryer on a dripping animal is what makes people think dryers are slow.
