The same filter as the big box, at nearly double
Veken FIF3V116 F1 Series, 4 pack
A four-filter box of Veken F1 coconut shell carbon filters with sponges, at $3.00 a filter against $1.62 in the sixteen-pack.
What you are getting
Four filters with pre-filter sponges for Veken F1 Series fountains. $11.99 — $3.00 a filter, the highest price per filter on this shelf.
The same filter as the sixteen-pack, at nearly double
Veken sells this filter in two boxes on this shelf. Four for $11.99, or sixteen for $25.99. That is $3.00 against $1.62, and the large box also brings four cleaning brushes the small one does not.
Four of these boxes cost $47.96 for the sixteen filters the big box sells at $25.99. On the maker’s own two-week interval, four filters are eight weeks — so the small box is two months of water at nearly twice the rate.
What it is, which is the same as the big one
Coconut shell activated carbon in a high-density fabric shell, with a composite scale inhibitor — the only such layer on this shelf — and multi-layer media behind it. Fits the C1, C1 Classic, D1 and D1 Pro.
Every word of that is shared with the sixteen-pack, because it is the same filter.
Where a four-pack makes sense
Two cases. Trying the fountain’s own filter once before committing to a year of them — and a household that has decided to change fountains and needs eight weeks of cover rather than eight months.
Outside those, the arithmetic points at the larger box.
What is not published
No carbon weight, no dimensions, no flow rate — and the listing does not state how many sponges are in the box, only that the pack “includes both filters and pre-filter sponges”.

The questions owners ask
Is there any difference from the sixteen-pack?
None that either page states. Both are FIF3V1xx F1 Series, both describe coconut shell carbon, a composite scale inhibitor and multi-layer media, and both list the C1, C1 Classic, D1 and D1 Pro. The difference is the count, the price per filter — $3.00 against $1.62 — and the four brushes in the larger box.
How long do four filters last?
Eight weeks on Veken’s own two-week interval. That is the number to weigh against the price: $11.99 for two months of water, where $25.99 buys eight months and the brushes. Four small boxes cost $47.96 for what the large box sells at $25.99.
What does "4 Pack" actually contain?
Four filters, and an unstated number of sponges — the listing says the bundle "includes both filters and pre-filter sponges" without counting them. Since the sponge is washable, that omission matters less than it looks: the four carbon pads are what you are buying, and they are what runs out.
