The same motor as two rivals, at the lowest price
Baofum DR-DC160 with LED
An IP68-rated DR-DC160 replacement pump with LED for round, ceramic and stainless fountains from 2 L to 3 L, at $7.58.
What you are getting
A DR-DC160 submersible pump with an LED, rated IP68, for round, ceramic and 360° stainless fountains. $7.58 — the cheapest pump on this shelf.
The same motor as two other brands, and the cheapest of the three
DR-DC160 is also the motor reference on the Monsin pump ($9.99) and the KANCHOU pump ($12.99) on this shelf. Three brands, one part number, $5.41 between the ends of the range.
This is the cheapest, and it is the one that comes with an LED — KANCHOU’s listing is titled “No LED Light” and costs $5.41 more.
It names the fountains it will not fit — in a curious spelling
“NOT compatible with the following brands of cat fountains: Kas tty, Cat it, Wo pet.”
KANCHOU, selling the same motor, publishes the same three exclusions spelled normally: Kastty, Catit, Wopet. The spaced version is the same information, written so the brand names do not read as brand names.
Either way, the exclusion is the useful part: three brands ruled out, and four capacities ruled in — 81 oz / 2.4 L, 84 oz / 2.5 L, 101 oz / 3 L and 67 oz / 2 L.
What IP68 means here
Fully submersible, dust-tight, and rated for continuous immersion. That is what a fountain pump has to be, and it is the only listing in this group to give the rating as a code rather than as the word “submersible”.
What is not published
No flow rate, which is the figure the shelf asks you to check before ordering. Also no voltage, no power draw, and no cable length. The noise claim is “less than 40 decibels”, with no distance or method.

The questions owners ask
Is this really the same pump as the KANCHOU one?
Both listings name the same motor, DR-DC160, publish the same three brand exclusions — Kastty, Catit and Wopet — and make the same noise claim of under 40 decibels. The visible difference is the LED: this one has it, KANCHOU’s title says "No LED Light". The price difference runs the other way: $7.58 here against $12.99 there. The Monsin pump on this shelf is a third DR-DC160, at $9.99.
What does IP68 add?
It is the ingress code: dust-tight, and rated for continuous immersion rather than splashes. Every pump on this shelf is submersible by design, but this is the only one that states the rating as a code instead of the word. It says nothing about flow, noise or life.
Will it fit my fountain?
It names four capacities — 2 L, 2.4 L, 2.5 L and 3 L — and three brands it will not fit. What it does not give is a flow rate, and the shelf guidance is firm about why that matters: a pump rated well above the original overshoots the spout and splashes outside the bowl, while one rated below will not lift water to the top tier. None of the nine pumps here publishes the figure.
