Tractive is the default GPS tracker in Europe, and two of its models are reviewed here alongside the mounting parts.
The subscription is on the listing. From €5 a month, covering the SIM, stated plainly rather than discovered during setup. Over three years that is more than the hardware — and Tractive is the brand that makes the arithmetic possible before you buy.
The cat and dog models are genuinely different. 32 g with an integrated breakaway-compatible collar for the cat; a heavier unit with more runtime for the dog. Fitting a dog tracker to a cat is a real hazard, and the product range does not encourage it.
The health data is measurement, not interpretation. Resting heart rate, breathing rate, sleep, activity, and — on the dog model — barking and scratching. Our reviews describe what is recorded and send the interpretation to a vet, which is where it belongs.
Both trackers and both mounts carry one reference across all six markets. The mounts are model-specific: the CAT Mini sleeve does not fit a dog tracker.
